The PlayStation Classic Console

Post by Mark

First Nintendo released the NES Classic followed by the SNES Classic and now Sony is doing the same with the original PlayStation. Not sure I’ll get it but it’s great they’re doing this. Only 5 games announced so far out of a total of 20 that will be included. The games are Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms. For more info click [Here]

Play SNES and Genesis Games on the Xbox One

Post by Mark

xboxonesnes

I can’t believe this is possible but there is a browser based emulator called Nesbox that will allow you to run roms on your Xbox One. Nesbox lets you run NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games using the Microsoft Edge browser on your Xbox One. Its easy to get working, all you need to do is point your browser to https://nesbox.itch.io/x1 and then click on the emulator screen to run it in full screen. The roms should be stored in your One Drive account and the emulator will load it up from there.

I just tried this with NHL’94 and it worked, in the photo above I exited to the main menu to show you it’s on the Xbox One but the game actually runs in full screen. Amazing!
